We’re six days into the new year and I haven’t posted a New Year’s blog yet. Must rectify!

A Scary Thing Happened Today

Nicky and I had gone to the shops to stock up for the impending apocalypse. Our last port of call was Aldi. We had more than ten items making their way to the register. The time between first item scanned and the receipt being handed over had to be less than a minute. It was the fastest we'd ever gotten through a checkout.

Ah, domestic bliss. How terrifying thou art.
